8.1.5.A.1: Select and use the appropriate digital tools and resources to accomplish a
variety of tasks including solving problems
I would use prezi’s and kahoot for the class. This way, there is a level of entertainment in the learning and with kahoot, kids use games to first hand interact and do the work while problem solving.
8.1.5.A.4: Graph data using a spreadsheet, analyze and produce a report that explains the analysis of the data
I can teach my students how to use any of the Microsoft office apps. Specifically, I can show my students how to use basic level excel and how that can help track certain information and math. I can also use power-point to teach students power-point and how presentation help learn.
8.1.5.A.5: Create and use a database to answer basic questions
I can make a FAQ for my students to reach on my schools website page that allows them to login on and find answers for questions about things we’ve learned in class. this can help them with homework and studying. Plus, as the year goes on, by the end I can make a booklet of all the questions I’ve put o their for my students to always keep and be able to go back to.
8.1.5.A.3: Use a graphic organizer to organize information about problem or issue.
For more complex lessons, I can make a class binder of all the information they learned. This way at the end of the lesson before a test, our class review can be used through the binder and be organized enough that I can go to specific details and emphasize them for my students.
